In 1998, he formed
BennCo Advisors, a registered investment advisor. He maintains an active investment management and financial planning practice.
In addition to investment advisory work, Bennett has served the community as a director and chairman of the Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado, past board member and board cha ir of the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater Dallas. He is also a current director and past president of the East Colorado Springs Rotary club.
He has served as a member of the vestry of the Chapel of our Saviour Episcopal Church and is currently serving as a trustee of the Colorado Episcopal Foundation chairs the Foundation Investment Committee which oversees $30 million in diocesan and parish funds. For the Episcopal Diocese of Colorado, he helped organize and is currently President of the Board of the Cathedral Ridge Camp and Conference Center in Woodland Park, Colorado.
From 1995 to 2016 he served as a member of the Regis University Investment Oversight Committee, supervising the endowment funds of the University.
On the personal side, he and his wife Becky enjoy their 5 grandchildren, their young English Springer Spaniel, pairing wines with Brian’s home cooking and Colorado’s craft beers.
